Threats the sumatran tigers
Sumatran Tigers are affected by many threats. These are some examples:
• Climate change
The climate change is currently rising as there is global warming. This is a threat to the Sumatran Tiger because the water level rises up from the warmer climate, making the ocean water get mixed up with the little ponds that the Sumatran Tigers drink from which makes the water salty.
• Loss of habitat
Loss of habitat can be a problem for every animal which affects the Sumatran Tiger. The loss of habitat can be people destroying the Sumatran Tiger's environment which makes the Tigers homeless. Also, another way of losing their habitat is when it rains a lot in the Sumatra. The Sumatran Tigers will have a really hard time living in the rain because their preys won't be around a lot as they are trying not to get wet in the rain .

Poaching is the biggest reason why the Sumatran Tigers are in danger and this is the reason why the Sumatran Tigers are critically endangered. People poach for the Sumatran Tiger because of their rich skin and then they trade it for money. Poaching can really caused a big problem so the government made a rule, but it was kind of late because there were other animals that died because of poaching.
